These products are completely independent. Visual Basic 6.0 was released a few years ago, so I do not think you'll be lucky to find these days. It's been replaced by Visual Studio, which runs the base, among other programming languages and is in version 3 or 4 hours. Microsoft has made a smaller version (Visual Studio Express), available as a free download, available on its website
