Windows Server 2003 is Virtual PC?
I just installed Windows Server 2003 on Virtual PC How do I log off the host operating system and keep running Virtual PC?
You can not. Virtual PC does not run as a service, which is what you need. You instead need to run Virtual Server (basically the same thing, but designed to run on a server – can work on XP Pro with IIS installed) and should allow the operation of the service and, in turn, the systems remain operational even when not connected.
